The app loaded just fine on my Kindle Fire HD 8.9 but when I click the app nothing happens. It just returns me to the app page. I also tried to find it at the Microsoft store but it is not there.

Just curious why Winamp no longer plays Highlander Radio while Live365 works fine. I'm guessing it is a Shoutcast problem but who knows.

I may dumb but what does this have to do with religious freedom? The President is not telling anyone what to worship and I do not see anyones right to worship whatever they want being taken away by the government. If an organization wants funding from the federal government then they have to meet the same standards as everyone else.

Songcatcher is a good movie somewhat marred by the Hollywood lesbian love affair and the ensuing violence. It would have been much better if they had just stuck to the music but then nobody would have watched it I guess.

FNS just ate up all of my song requests. Every time my song started FNS came on and I only heard a few seconds of my request. When the next song started FNS came on again! Like every 30 seconds.

I can't listen to the new stream on Radio365 or Winamp. It plays for a few seconds and then stops.

Back when I had lots of cats I had more mice in the house because they kept bringing them into the house and releasing them for my pleasue I guess. Cats do have a sense of humor. Right now I am catless and have found a humane trap that works without that paper that pulls their skin and legs off.

Thank you for asking but all is well now. It seemed that Winamp had a problem recognizing Highlander Radio at first but they seem to have cured the problem.

Thanks englishmix. A lot of people read Newsvine, and a lot of them read my articles so I thought a plug for my favorite internet radio station would be cool.

Thanks, Paul, for all of your hard work! This new setup is great. I don't know how I did it but I somehow got WINAMP to play Highlander Radion after years of failure. walkman.gif

How do you play it on another player? I somehow played it on Winamp and it sounded great but I have no idea how I did it and can't duplicate it again. I pasted the URL on something in Winamp but it seemed kind of a cumbersome way to go. I know I am missing something so any advice would be appreciated.

The little box that appears after I click the Highland Radio play button works fine but the sound quality is not good. It sounds like a transistor radio from my youth.
Obviously I have no idea what I am doing. dribble.gif

This may be a dumb question but I just have to ask it. Is the sound quality of the web stream different from the Live365 player? It seems to me that the quality is better with the Live365 player but that could be my imagination.
