Hey, found this great site that made by someone from the US. Loads of good stuff there, shows you how to pronounce all the dodgy letters non-Welsh people get trouble with and so on.

Just posting because I seen an article on BBC News that some schools are teaching their pupils Elvish, which is based on Finnish and of course Welsh (mainly Welsh pronounciations).

I find it hard to believe seeing as Welsh is an official language of the UK and yet they don't take notice, and they decide to teach a made-up language?

Mae hen wlad fy nhadau yn annwyl i mi
Gwlad beirdd a chantorion, enwogion o fri;
Ei gwrol ryfelwyr, gwladgarwyr tra mâd,
Tros ryddid gollasant eu gwaed.

Gwlad, Gwlad, pleidiol wyf i'm gwlad.
Tra môr yn fur i'r bur hoff bau,
O bydded i'r hen iaith barhau.

Hen Gymru fynyddig, paradwys y bardd,
Pob dyffryn, pob clogwyn i'm golwg sydd hardd;
Trwy deimlad gwladgarol, mor swynol yw si
Ei nentydd, afonydd i mi.

Os treisiodd y gelyn fy ngwald tan ei droed,
Mae hen iaith y Cymry mor fyw ac erioed,
Ni luddiwyd yr awen gan erchyll law brad,
Na thelyn berseiniol fy ngwlad.

Hey, Welsh Guy! What rock have you been hiding under?
