I too am withdrawn not a very out going person. It is probably because I am here on the computer with the best friends I could have. This place is very special because of the people in it. I wonder how many members are the quiet type so to speak...????

Rindy, I'd be curious to see such a poll! Perhaps it the benefit of anonymity that allows us to be more open here than we are in the outside world! I find it much easier to open up to people here than elsewhere!

Me too Wizard! Not sure why, I have always been very self conscious, not sure why that is either as I used to model, may be that is why. LOL I don't know but as long as we all have fun is what it is about. No one is here to hurt anyone else. I would say your fingers are smoking wow 122? No way....

Once again I find myself in a postion where I feel I need to apologize to you. I'm truly sorry if our little bit of fun last night bothered you. It was very late at night and hardly no one else was around, so we only wanted to have a little fun. No harm was intended. You are correct in that it is not a matter of quantity of posts that matters. But there is nothing wrong with having a little fun occasionally too. I enjoy a good in-depth conversation myself, but after having a bad day yesterday because I didn't get a job I truly wanted, I felt a need to unwind. I was very fortunate to have such good frineds as Rindy, Vette and 3Ravens who wanted to chat too! I don't have many friends outside of CR. I tend to be a very private, withdrawn person away from CR, but here I feel free to be myself and talk with people (you included) whom I consider to be my dear friends. I hope no harm was done to our relatiuonship because I love ya like a sister and wouldn't want to do anything to damage that relationship!

Wizard, there's no reason for you to apologise. I see your point and I'm sure you know what I was trying to express...I didn't refer to anyone personally; so there was no intention to offend anyone nor is offence taken here.
There are two different opinions and you shouldn't feel you ever need to apologise for a firm point of view.

That would be an interesting poll! The internet tends to open you up, becuase your not there actually. And of course the best people in the world are here!

Ms. Annabelle, we have MANY threads that are educational. Why is it a problem for people to simply have FUN in some of them? We all have different needs and objectives. Most of us have to be serious nearly all of the time. There should also be a place for simple fun.

Here! Here! There is no need to get negative about all of this, the point of celticradio is not to have the most posts anyway, it's to have a good time....if not, why would we all be here!?

Once again, I am sorry if I offended you. That was not my intent. But CR is supposed to be a place to satisfy EVERYONE'S needs, not just a select few. I enjoy a good in-depth conversation when I feel that I have something to add that is of value to the conversation. But other times I just want to have some fun. When you talk on the phone with your friends is it always serious involving conversation, or do you not sometimes just have fun for the sheer joy of being amongst friends? Well I for one was never involved in any sort of race. Yes I was hoping to reach my goal of 2,000 posts. But it was late, no one else was talking and we just wanted to have a little fun. If we have to be in depth with every single post we make, I dare say there won't be very many posts!

I just want to say, I did not intend to hurt anyone by posting fast.

One does not judge one on intellect by the quickness or the depth of ones posts.

A while back I was informed there was a protocal in following the subject matter in all posting and not get too radical. At first I saw everyone racing and thought it was funny but it needs to stop sooner or later. It gets boring!
