This is it folks! This is why we made Celtic Radio. This award is given to acknowledge musical creativity and extraordinary work on an album which provides recognition of exceptional contributions to Celtic Music.

And from what we understand it could not have happened to a better group of people. Be sure to check out Burning Bridget Cleary!

Everyone here on this site; the members of this forum, the Celtic Radio Founder members, the mods, the admins, the ones who donate their time, energy and financial support to this site should be proud that we have made a difference in raising the awareness of Celtic Music and for such fine young musicians. When we mail their award plaque, frame award and letter from Celtic Radio there will be a special message from all of you folks who deserve the credit of keeping this site going. Now look what we have accomplished:

The Morning Call too:

"Burning Bridget Cleary is an energetic Celtic group featuring traditional music and song. Both Rose Baldino and Genna Gillespie have been playing since they were 10. Lou Baldino, a veteran in the music business, had a guitar in his hands at age 5. Their "Everything is Alright..." album is top notch and shows the talent and pure fun this group had in making such a wonderful album. We absolutely love Burning Bridget Cleary's "Everything is Alright" album and would highly recommend this CD to add to your Celtic Music collection. This CD has the depth and character of musicians many years advanced to their young ages and we will be very much anticipating their future recordings. 5 Golden Celtic Radio stars for "Everything is Alright" along with the honor to be designated as our Celtic Radio Album of the Year for 2009!"

We will post a picture of the award plaque as soon as it comes back from our vendor.
