St Andrew's Day is celebrated on 30 November. Here is the URL of a page prepared by Edinburgh University, which I thought might be of interest to some of you!

Thanks Catriona, I've been looking for a celtic /semetic tribal link. There is a great deal to tie the southern celtic movement/languages in europe to the Indian sub continent, but so far no empirical link to judaic/christian tradition apart from the influence of the Roman Empire.

WG
That site of the Geography Faculty of Edinburgh University is really a treasury.  They have put loads of Scottish history on the web at various times....

And, no, before you ask, that wasn't my faculty!  :D

Great site Catriona!
I love reading about history. Have any more to feed my brain?
