Hello to all

I'm needing a hand with these sentences. I would like to know which one would you chose if you would have to pick "The most proper translation" for:

("If you mess with me. You will regret it.")

(1) -Ma bheanas tu riumsa. Bidh aithreachas ort.

(2) -Ma's buair thu mi. Bithidh duilich leat.

(3) -Ma chuireas tu dragh orm. Gabhaidh thu aithreachas.

(4) -Ma chuireas sibh dragh orm. 'S sibhsa a bhios duilich.

Please Help me chose.

Tapadh leibh.

I really can't speak any Gaelic, but I can give you one nitpickers piece of advice. Swap the period with a comma. wink.gif

Hello MacPhee!

I am a student of Gaelic, but not fluent. I have posted your question on a Gaelic list I subscribe to, but so far no one has answered. I'll try posting it on another! Sorry its taking so long!

Hello again.

I've recieved a reply on an other site about my question but I would need a second advice if it would be possible?

The person voted for the fourth one:

(4) -Ma chuireas sibh dragh orm. 'S sibhsa a bhios duilich.

But added in his reply...dragh should take an à (dràgh) and sibhsa should be (sibhse).

So the correct way to wright it would be:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Ma chuireas sibh dràgh orm, 's sibhse a bhios duilich"
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Could someone please confirm this version.

Thanks a million. smile.gif

P.S.Sorry to be persistant with this question but I want to be sure. rolleyes.gif
