Hi, call me Pipkin! I was born and bred in southeastern Georgia and have been living on the coast for 33 years. I love Celtic music ...duh... and have always wanted to see Scotland.

I'm mostly Sottish/Irish with some Dutch, French, Creek Indian and Cherokee in the mix, just to make things interesting. I've been married to the same man (!) since '72, have one son, three granddaughters and one grandson. I'm a huge fan of Tolkien since '69 and have a great deal of admiration for him as well as many of the actors who portrayed my best beloved characters, namely Billy Boyd and Sean Bean.

I'm working on a cookbook. Procedes will go to charities for victims of natural disasters. Billy's Loons Charities are who I'm working on this project with. (Billy knows and approves...I'd never want to attach his name to anything without permission, he's such a nice man.) The book(s) will be called Recipes for Disaster. I love to write, paint, draw, carve and sculpt. I also love fishing and pets, mostly dogs, though I like all animals as long as they don't have more than 4 legs. I have a fairly wild sense of humor and can usually find something to laugh about even on the most horrible day. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
