Its been miserable. It's warm 11C, overcast, rain and fog.

Back in 1964, I decided to buy a Semi Tractor and become wealthy. I eventually hired a driver and when the unit was paid off I sold it and moved on. In late Feb. or early march I was delivering a load of carpet from the Carolina's to an apartment complex in Toronto. I had to back a 40 foot trailer down a serpentine drive to get to the loading, unloading dock which was no problem. However it was raining and very wet. The area in front of the dock was unpaved. I got stuck three times and was beginning to think I might have to apply for residency. The location was spectacular. Ok, no more off topic.
The wind is really howling now! 45 - 60 mph! Had some monsoon like rain for moments off and on. In between the wind and monsoons I took this pic at around 6pm tonight. Double rainbow!

Mother Nature can't seem to make up her mind what she want to do here in Indy. Last week it was in the 40's and 50's and sunny. This week it's in the 20's and 30's and scattered snow.
Wednesday: to snow Thursday: to snow Friday: to snow Saturday (today) to snow No snow-storm (not even a real wind) no extreme temeratures (all around the freezing point) - simply to snow from morning to night And during the night? to snow of course. In the meantime we have r.a. 50cm snow here. The wheather report says: Sunday: to snow Monday: to snow Tuesday: to snow (what else?) I live only 450m above the sea level - normally you can see the first snodrops in this time. When the deuce comes the spring!
Spring Fever here in the Northeast!!!!! it was near 60F yesterday, and it is going to snow today...,. GO FIGURE...........I still say.. @#$%^&*^%$$ THAT GROUNDHOG!!!!!

]AN EXCERPT FROM A POEM THAT I WROTE ON 10/11/07
WE CAN'T CHANGE WHAT WE HAVE DONE.... BUT ONLY TAKE A LESSON FROM EACH EXPERIENCE AND MAKE THE MOST OF EACH MINUTE THAT WE HAVE LEFT AND TELL OURELVES THAT IT IS OK TO LIVE, LAUGH AND CRY..... PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE ALL WORK TOGETHER TO GIVE US WHAT WE CAN AND SHOULD EXPERIENCE AND WE NEED TO CHERISH ALL OF THE TIME THAT WE SPEND WITH OURSELVES AND OTHERS MAKING THE MOST OF THE SPECIAL MEMORIES THAT ARE OURS.. AND THE ONES THAT WE HAVE YET TO CREATE WITH THE PEOPLE THAT WE HAVEN'T MET!!!!![/SIZE]
I believe we will hit 80 today. Hopefully, rain tonight (everybody do a rain dance) then turn cooler tomorrow.

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair.

"Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves."
Maybe the spring came at night! The snow is melting here almost completely (only upon the Alps still lies about a lot of the white stuff) and the wheather-man augur +15°C and some sunny days in the next time. The first birds are chirping and my tomcat is running around as he were possessed by the devil. Today he brought home his first self-catched mouse in this year. Maybe the spring came at night!
Here we go again in New England! A dusting of just a couple of inches today BUT overnight 12 -16 inches into tomorrow in my area. Getting the snow blower gassed up and ready to go.
I am sick of the snow but I have to admit it does look very pretty coming down outside my window right now. Maybe I'm getting a little sentimental knowing that it could be one of our last ones of the year (most likely not!). Spring is around the corner right?? Someone convince me. It does look nice now but I'll be cursing it again tomorrow.
