At my school in Sweden we're currently studying revolutions. This means that we study the French, Russian, American revolutions as well as the industrial and Tennage revolutions. The examination is a stage performance including poetry, drama, songs, dance and art, and I'm doing a thing about "language revolutions". It wasn't long ago that you were punished fer speaking yer own dialect, our language, but then sort of a revolution started. Today we speak oor auld bonnie language, ar chànan, our dialects and languages have become something to be proud of. Therefore I'm asking all of ye to write yer thoughts about revolutions in your dialect or language, Lallans, Gàidhlig, Cymraeg; whatever your mother tongue is; write!
To help you I have written the 1 paragraph of the declaration o the human rights in my home dialect, then in standard swedish and English.
