Well, it looks like someone was looking over CelticRadio.net today. This afternoon, we are not sure of the exact time, but our DSL modem experienced somesort of failure. It is definitely blown. Luckily, we ordered a new DSL service last week and the new DSL modem just arrived yesterday. So, we are back up in a jiffy - otherwise we might have been down until our new service is installed. Tommorow, the telephone people will be installing a special data service only line and a NID box outside our studios. Next week the COVAD people are coming to acutally install the inside line and then we should be switched over to the new internet service within a few days. We might experience some down time because of this, best case scenario would be a few minutes to a worst case which would be a few hours. The new setup will initially be the same bandwidth, but we expect some increase in speed because of all of the new technology.
