I usually don't have good or bad dreams. When I do dream, they're usually weird dreams. I just wanted to know what the weirdest dream you've ever had is. Mine, and I've had it a few times, is where I was at work.

Hmmm, I have had a few where my teeth were falling out. I have had a couple where I was in a TV show too. As soon as I can remember some specifics, I will let you know.

My weirdest dream was that my dreams were reallity and the real world were dreams! Humm! Would be interesting if it were so! blink.gif

But as one who reads dreams I know that one can not be seperate of the other, life and dreams are connected and to try to seperate them from each other is not a good thing.

I have had more dreams with teeth falling out, and sadly, I think I know what it's about.

Every time I have that kind of dream, someone in my extended circle of family - friends dies. I just had one a couple weeks ago and my sister in law's mother passed away that same night. The the ones correlate with my father, uncle, and too many others too mention.

I know this might sound cold, but count yourself blessed!

You have a large collection of those extremely close you love and who love you, as many as the teeth in your mouth. For you to realize the meaning of these dreams is a step to becoming a more rounded person.

Dreams are part of life, and life a part of dreams; to separate them from each other is not good, but to understand what part each plays is a gift that can be learned and makes one more aware of just what life is.

I don't think it is the wierdest dream I've had, but it has to be one of the most profound, as I had it over twenty years ago and I still remember it vividly. I believe it played a part in my development of certain fears. (Condensed version) It was about an elderly uncle of mine, who died in his swimming pool. When I went to see him (just a few minutes after he died, his skin still blue and stretched, his short hair grew extremely long in a matter of seconds and then his dead eyes opened and he reached for me. That part of the dream ended right there. But as fate would have it and I kept dreaming about other unrelated topics for the rest of that night, my dead uncle kept appearing, looking at me from a distance with his unseeing eyes.
To this day, an elderly dead person still holds a 'special' place in my heart. I work as a detective with the local Sheriff's Department, and there have been many times when I have searched an old abandoned house at night with no light other than my flashlight, and it never fails that somewhere along the line in that place I will shine my light and see a 90 year old dead women, in the halo of just my light, skin drawn taut to her face, and as I get closer her eyes open....
Again, I had this dream when I was under 10 years of age. I am now 32. Go figure. How about it Shadows? biggrin.gif

Wow, that is profound.

My dream last night could have been one of two things. Either I was dreaming that everything i have dreamed tonight has been the same scenario with different people, or I actually dreamed the ame scenario over and over with different people.

If I may jump in. I used to dream about tornadoes (the Wizard of Oz syndrome) as a child. This continued all through college and even infrequently later. Then after my first child was born I remember having a dream where a tornado was coming and I opened the door to it. The vortex was whirling right there before me, but I felt no fear. Slowly the tornado stopped spinning and was gone. Since that time over ten years ago, I've had only one or two dreams with tornadoes and they haven't been scary. I have to believe it has to do with finally feeling in control of my life. What do you say, Shadows?
And tell me this, why is it when I dream of my suburban back yard it becomes rambling, overgrown with large trees and totally eerie in nature. And don?t tell me it?s time to cut the grass! cool.gif

I will tend to agree with your gaining control, but not so much your life as those fears you had in the past. The opening of the door symbolizes your acceptance of that which is new ( your child ). Your understanding of your feelings and environment are becoming comfortable to you, but!

Your own back yard being still a mystery to you signifies that there is still much in your life that you question, this could be your religious beliefs, your relationships, your job, etc.

It is hard to be exact when I am not in contact with the person, so much comes from the aura of that person in interpretation that something might tbe missed by casual interpretaion. I can only give you what you give me. So these are only initial and incomplete interpretations.

Sounds to me like you watched to much Rod Serling as a child! LOL!!!

All kidding aside;

You have not come to full grips with death! At the age you were, to be exposed to what you were, can make for memories that are unpleasant. I do not have enough info on this dream to make a clear reading, I am unsure if the role you play as a law officer is part of a dream or your real life. If it is real life it seems to me you do not want death to be present, hence the opening of the eyes. I see you still morn the death of your relative, but I can not read more until I know more.

Cool observation. I question almost everything about life - mine, others and the general idea of it.

Thanks, Shadows. At least that gives me something to chew on for a while. The rest of the dream is actually quite wierd. You know how they can be...jumping back and forth and full of things that aren't there in the real world. I.E. My uncle never had a swimming pool, and I was too young to remember him when he died. I actually never even remember meeting him. Only remember seeing his picture!!!!

P.S. That would be the real life part of the story.

Please let us not turn this into a dream interpretaion thread...I am sure that was not how it was concieved.

As I stated above there is more to interpretaion then the revealing of the memories of the dream...

If you need interpretaion then we must talk and if possible meet, other wise it will be generalized interpretaion.
