Hi Welsh Guy,
One of the signers, Frances Lewis was born in Llandaff, Wales on March 21, 1713. Others signers who had Welsh connections were-William Floyd, Georger Read and Button Gwinnett. This is all I could come up with.  Maybe someone else can take over where I left off.  A nice little history lesson.

Macfive, I learned today that John Adams and John Hancock were born in your neck-of-the-woods.

Thanks for sharing that. I would have never known. I think Welsh Heritage needs to be promoted more and I am glad that we have something here on the board.

It just so happen that I live probably 2 miles from the house that John Quincy Adams was born at. I drive by it atleast a few times a month! Surrounded by modern buildings and street corners, its a shame they didn't save a good portion of the land around this historic landmark.
