Celtic Radio Community > Medieval Games > What's Your Runescape Name?

Posted by: Macfive 14-Jul-2005, 06:04 PM
I had my first conversations with Celtic Radio members on Runescape the other night! It is amazing to see that there are a number of members actively playing this game.

My name on the game is "kiltedscot" if you want to add me to your buddy list. I have alot of items in the bank if you need anything! wink.gif

Please post your runescape name here so we can find you.

So, you might be wondering about my interest in Runescape? Well - this game represents a little project I would like to work on in 2006 or 2007. Basically I would like to create a 3D graphically representation of this forum community in a 3D type world. Runescape is sort of what I would like it to look like; although it will be a completely seperate 3D Java application that will probably be based on a historical old Ireland/Scotland, etc. We will see.......... biggrin.gif

Just wanted to say I started playing this week. My brothers have been at it for over a year. They finally got me to join. My screen name is Wren Dace. Does anyone on here still play?

Posted by: JaneyMae 23-Jan-2006, 11:13 AM
I still play (Janeymae-why change) and my brother Maisky is like a legend there (lechere - that's French for "The Sweet" - humorous). I would even play at work if I could - very, very addictive. sad.gif

I shall look for you as Wren Dace.

I am present there as "lechere". Silly englishmen keep dropping the "ere" and calling me "lech". I will add you and provide any assistance that I may.

I don’t know what runescape is, but when in China Town, I do answer to Hey You.

I played with my daughter a year or so ago and fell out of the habit. Created a new user name . . . Incogs Lady. Got her back into just in the last week.

My name on Rune Scape is " Scottish Son" thumbs_up.gif ! I like the game a lot. I'm still a noob though, only a level 20 or so.

SOOO funny to see this thread...my son has been playing Runescape with his buddies & cousins for about 6 months now. They have a great time doing it...even call eachother while they are playing! I keep saying he is on the phone more than any of my daughters!

My name is OakenCraft in runescape. I'm afraid I don't get to go in there very much though. I've been in a couple of times and killed a couple of goblins but that is about it. Any recommendations on simple but fun things to do?

I know this is hard to believe- but I was browsing this forum while on an online game-- and this is the first time-- in both places and at the same exact time-- that I have heard of it. I never have coincidences like this, ever... so I'm running to download it now. I'll be Jessa lee.

I want to have it noted that I have been absent from the forums due to a new obsession. *cough*

I have added all names from this thread to my friend list. I'm Jessa Lee, and I'm still SOOO NOOB! But I'm having a good time...

Please note that Celtic Son (aka RS name "Scottish Son") has gratefully agreed to help found a celticradio clan in Runescape. Preliminary discussions indicate we're leaning toward a green cape/something theme, but we'd welcome new voices and opinions.

I have everyone listed in this forum on my friend list, and I see a quite a few of you online. wink.gif Come chat, voice your opinion on what we should do and how! My name in RS is Jessa Lee.

Thanks!

Why of course my friend Runescape is a popular MMORPG (M.assively M.ultiplayer O.nline R.ole P.laying G.ame ) The website is pretty simple

http://www.runescape.com/

The game starts as a tutorial Island. Once you are on the real game world you can do many, many things such as build your skills and hunt monsters. Although for the most many people are tricky and ridiculous on the game there are also many kind and friendly people. I belive all the people listed in this topic are some of them! Hope i shed a little light. If you would ever like to team up and meet on the game. Iwould be happy to just P.M. me on this site and i would meet there right away.

Have fun!

Hey Jime! Thanks for the little class! I checked out the website & it looks kinda cool. Is it anything like "Tribes"? My ex used to play that for hours at a time-it was an on-line capture the flag game. I am not very "game literate"-I used to play the Nintendo 1 Mario Brothers game....whoops,that is aging me,isn't it? wink.gif...and I was not very good at that. Anyways, I am always willing to try something new, especially if there are some friendly folks in there! I will get in there sometime soon-probably a weekend-and try my hand at it. And PM you (personal message?) if the spirit leads. Thanks again! Monksplay
