Signature Graphics

I don't think this will effect too many people, but I have turned off some of the graphic options for signatures. Some of the signatures were using some pretty hefty graphics in there and it not only takes more time for the page to load, but sometimes all you see is the big graphic in the signature.

We can consider turning it back on if people really want this feature, but we are going to have to limit the height of the graphic.

Could we make that limiting the height or the width? Reason I ask is mines sort of tall but fairly narrow so...would be similar to a not tall but wide graphic.

And just some feedback I rather link the graphic signatures if not to large. I think we only have 2 that are regular usuaers that being me an Aon.

I keep thinking of fixing up a sig graphic like I used on my guild website for EQ:



Just haven't decided on how best to do it. I copied from the cover of my book for my avatar, but I wouldn't really want to duplicate that much of the cover design for something not directly related to that perticular publication.

Paul, you can just give restrictions on the quality of a graphic I can turn down the quality no problem which will make a sig faster to load. Also height & width restrictions won't be much hassle.. but I like making sigs!!!
Others have requested for me to make them signatures but they haven't sent me the material to work on yet...

Ok, that is fine. How about I turn it back on.

We can use up to width: 480, height: 60 for the signature graphic. I think that is the standard banner display.

It will be better in a few days when we get back celtichearts.com to offload alot of graphics.

well, I upload mine on my own anyway. But that's ok.. I mean I can survive without sig under my posts for a while
