So? What's up? I haven't been able to get on at all, at work. And at home 50% of the time I'm getting these warning screens, or 'unable to connect to server'.
Do you know what's happening, and for how long?

"I am a Canadian by birth, but I am a Highlander by blood and feel under an obligation to do all I can for the sake of the Highlanders and their literature.... I have never yet spoken a word of English to any of my children. They can speak as much English as they like to others, but when they talk to me they have to talk in Gaelic."
-Alexander Maclean Sinclair of Goshen (protector of Gaelic Culture)
When I tried earlier I was getting a message indicating that the server needed to be rebooted. Evidently, the software for the connections was fowled up.
Dear Lord, lest I continue in my complacent ways, help me to remember that someone died for me today. And if there be war, help me to remember to ask and to answer "am I worth dying for?" - Eleanor Roosevelt

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart.
Well, it definitely looks like we maxed out on connections and then something got fouled up as suggested!
Basically, we have the database on a computer server that is configured to only have 100 max connections. We can handle way more than that because I just realized the connections are really internal to our local network.
I'm going to bump it up to 500 max connections at one time so that we should not have any more issues for the time. If anyone receives these database messages, please let me know asap because that would mean it is something else.
Ok, this change should be done within 30 mins. Sorry for the inconvience!

Sorry for the interuption this afternoon. I was trying to figure out the max-connection variable in the database server! For such a simple thing it was certainly painful! Ok, off to Walmart or the wife is going to kill me!

Where's the petition to sign for your clemancy? I'm sure there are a few people around that would gladly sign. I'd like to be the first.
I see that it took almost four hours to straighten out.
Is it just me or does the site just look like it was shot full of holes with a Bow and Error? Oh wel I can still hear it.

It looks to me like we lost one of those infamous secondary servers our illustrious chieftan was talking about the other day or he's been playing around with max-connection variables or some other technical jargon half of us wouldn't understand!
