They play up around that neck of the woods and you should go see them (their Bass player is a member of celticradio as well). | Hello Everyone! I cannot remember if I introduced myself when I joined, if not, I am so happy to be here. I live in Huntington Beach, California, I have always been totally taken by Ireland and have always wanted to travel there; well I am, in 2010, my oldest son and I. I went to a concert in Los Angeles to see your very own Celtic Thunder, then went onto myspace to tell of my experience, I have made more very talented, friendly and very awesome friends since that post. That makes me very happy, as well as the beautiful music, it's changed my life and the way I see it! I wish I would have been more exposed to the Irish and the music before, I think my life would have been different and more ar peace with myself. Anyway, enough of that; I am totally a huge fan of Celtic Thunder as well as Skully, his latest CD, Irish Makeover and of course Metisse. Metisse's music is played throughout the Dead Like Me movie that was just released as well as the D.L.M. TV series. Since I have had the opportunity to meet and listen to other artists from Ireland and Scotland, and of course, some in the US. Well, I hope to be online and meet many more people as I am about 1/3 Irish on my father's side, that must have something to do with my connection with Ireland. Thanks! Darlene |
