Hey all!

I'm Joshua and I'm 24 I live in Texas. I'm a descendant of over 14 generations of Ulster Scot-Irish ancestry dating back to 1225 A.D. I love Celtic music, and all things Scottish and Irish. I have my entire family tree of my Scot-Irish family dating back to 1225 in Rentfrew, a few generations later during the war between England and Scotland my family moved to Ulster Ireland, and mixed with the Irish and then moved to Mass. USA in the 1700. Then they moved to Texas, fought in the war for independence and settled where we are now, San Antonio.

I have been known to wear all kinds of kilts, including black ones! ;-)

I looove Celtic music.. so moving, so cultural.

Josh!

Thank you! smile.gif

I just looked back over my family tree, it's more like 27 generations! Man.. Scottish names back in the 1200's we're different! biggrin.gif

I think one fellow's name in my family was "Madog".

Can someone suggest a really good compilation CD of Celtic music that I could find maybe at Best Buy or something?

I am a Coastal Georgia Ulster-Scot. My family left Belfast in 1732 for America. I plan a trip to Ulster to research more on our family. thumbs_up.gif
