I should have posted something up here first introducing myself before posting on Celtic hearts, but that's me, usually doing things the wrong way round.
I'm Stuart from the Isle of Mann.
I enjoy folk dancing, I'm a member of Bock Yuan Fannee (Johns Flayed Horse(the nearest translation is shankses? pony))
I sing with a local choir Clioagaree Twoie (Northern Croakers)
I speak Manks although I'm a bit rusty from lack of use.
I write poetry (you may have noticed a couple of things I've penned)
The name zephyr signifies nothing, it was picked because I was listening to the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and needed a name for a local site I joined, It's just sort of stuck.

You are quite skilled with a pen, my friend. Welcome to Highlander Radio As I recall I did much the same thing when I joined, so no problem there. Dive right in Although I might suggest you follow suit with several here and have one thread where you post your material, instead of a new thread for each piece. Doesn't look like you're trying to hijack a forum that way
Welcome Zephyr. (I don't mean anything by the following other than a play on words ) It's always nice to have another big wind on the site. I'll catch up on your stuff in a few days when my schedule eases. Glad to have you and I hope you enjoy your stay.

Welcome, zephyr. ENjoy the stay as some of us have enjoyed your work thus far. I'd say more but my mind didnt wake up with my body this morning.
Which raises the question, just whose body did your mind wake up with?
Welcome Zephyr, it is better to post than lurk. At least we get to know you when you post. Interesting avatar. Enjoy yourself here, this place is full of good people.

Hello and welcome, Zephyr! I did the same not to long ago... I, too, need to catch up on your words. The ones I have read were really good and I'm looking forward to reading some more and getting to know you. See you around! Cheers-

Don't worry about it Z, we do things backwards sometimes cause we are different. No problem and looking forward to more poetry from you. Glad you are here! your Avatar is scary! As long as it's not in the closet at night I'm ok!
The Avatar is Rob Anybody. He's a Nac Mac Feegle as created by Paul Kidby for Terry Pratchett, if you haven't read 'The Discworld' you are missing out on some extremely funny writing.

Hey scotsman! That's a good one.

Compassion is the sometimes fatal capacity for feeling what it is like inside somebody else's skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too. - Frederick Buechner
If society prospers at the expense of the intangibles, how can it be called progress?
So glad you are here! So you speak Manx, eh? I am trying to learn Scottish Gaelic. I would really like to see some examples of the Manx if you are willing! Maybe you could start a Manx thread over in the Gaelic forum or in the Isle of Man forum! Fàilte a charaid! Welcome my friend!
