Well, we got completely knocked off line for about an hour and half tonight due to a power outage from local severe thunderstorms. Our backup UPS devices kept us going for about 45 mins then they kicked out.

Everything is now back online and there has been no loss of data or computer equipment.

It was kinda fun going by candlelight for a little bit!

You got lucky!

Yesterday, a power surge killed my sister and brother-in-law's central AC, and we had a high of 98º! They and their kids spent the night at our house. Their AC didn't work that well anyway. You never were completely cool. If any room in their house had more than five people in it, that room would heat up in a jiffy!
