We received the follow message today and we are not able to help this listener. Does anyone have a suggestion what song this might be. Post it here if you do:

Awhile back I heard a version of "Old Angzine" (I know my spelling is way off.)

I didn't catch it on the webplayer window that shows the current selection.

I loved it.

What I remember about it is that it was sung by a female vocalist, that she did not sing the melody exactly as I've heard it in traditional versions, and that her singing projected the greatest degree plaintiff tragedy I've ever heard--not just the sadness of a life ending, but of the unspeakable sadness of leaving this Earth.

I know the chances of you knowing this version from my limited description are low, but I inquire just in case.

Thanks in advance!

I checked in the song listings. Closest I could come was this: from a movie a play soundtrack called "The Cast" by Willowing
here is the link

My next guess would be Iona but you can't find a sample anywhere. Hope this helps.
