I always like hearing different music especially from someone else's suggestion. Music that I've never heard, old or new.

Here's one you may not have heard that you may like. It was recommended to me recently:

The Go-Betweens - "Streets of your town"

Enjoy.
Feel free to suggest others.

If you like Cajun Music then you might try listening to: Cedric Benoit.

I heard him at Silver Dollar City and he wasn't bad. Also heard Sadiki. Sadiki is a band that plays the Steel Drums.

I now live in Florida and can't make it to Silver Dollar City as much as I'd like.

What a terrific thread!! Good job on this one, Togo!!

A group that I found almost by accident that is really good is Socks in the Frying Pan. Yep, that's what they are called! They are a Trad group out of County Clare. Really fine musicians and, obviously, they like to have a good time. A good sample of their music is a song they performed for the County Clare promotion of the Gathering, the tourist promotion in Ireland. the YouTube link is:

Let's keep this thread going! Great idea!!

Do your duty in all things. You cannot do more, you should never wish to do less - Robert E. Lee

The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble, and he knoweth them that trust in him - Nahum 1:7 (KJV)
