Hello, I am new to this site and also new to Celtic music other than highly visible artists like Celtic Woman, Celtic Thunder, etc. I discovered another group called Albannach at a Renaissance Faire a couple years ago. I think I found your radio site while searching celtic music in general, and this seems to be the perfect place to find out about Celtic music!

Welcome!! This is a great place to get exposed to new music and expand your horizons a bit! I've certainly added a whole bunch of new-to-me acts to what I listen to since being exposed to Celtic Radio.

Hope you enjoy it!!

Glad you found us! To be honest with you, this is the exact reason why we created the site and broadcasts. About 10 years ago we came home and could find very little online about Celtic Music and to hear the music of so many artists that were no were to be found online.

So, a long winded welcome! biggrin.gif

Welcome, Lynnea. Even though I joined last year I'm still new to the site, but not to Celtic music. We just had the Great American Irish Fair in Irvine, CA, last weekend and this is my fourth year working it. What a great weekend for all, regardless of age. There are so many variations on Celtic music, I hope this site holds all that you seek.

Albannach is a great group. We seem them every year at the Highland Games in Loon Mountain New Hampshire. Plus they are a bunch of nice guys and gals.

Be sure to check our monthly CD contests, I think we have a few more Albannach CDs to giveaway!
