What Other Languages Do You Speak..., or are learning?

I just recently found some Spanish tutorial software I purchased years ago but never opened, so I just started learning Spanish. I suspect it's the European dialect because the speakers on the tutorial don't have the rapid fire, staccato meter of the Latin American dialect.

Currently i'm trying to learn Danish. I use rosettastone software which is pretty thorough and easy to pick up. I try to learn Gaelic but that is coming really slow.

I bought some Italian software a while ago, I should start that up again. I'm thinking about taking some Spanish classes as well. I already know some of the basics (very little but still some).

Languages...I just love languages!!! Always have. Besides of German which is my first language, I speak English and French, some Spanish and a bit Italian.
I'm learning Scottish Gaelic ( could turn out as a lifetime project! ) and am collecting material about certain Native American languages...
I think I will not quit learning new ones as long as I will be able to do so.

I speak Spanish and English. I am the only English speaker at home so I have to speak Spanish or be very frustrated. I took a year of ancient Greek in University long ago, but remember nothing of it, and I know about three words in Quiche which will serve me very well I suppose if I ever find myself in that area of Guatemala again.

I read Ancient Greek (in my 8th semester of it) and am currently taking a course to refresh my knowledge of Latin. In my spare time, I'm working on Ancient Egyptian, Irish, and Japanese.

I love languages and thinking about how different languages relate similar concepts. I've got a thing for old/"dead" languages, part of which is probably because I want to do my part to keep them alive for another generation. Granted, there are languages in more danger of dying out, but I can only learn what I can find materials to use in learning.

I had a Spanish class in High School to get a foundation. I could probably pick it up again, but it's so weak right now that my skill with it might only server to get me into trouble.

Learning Gaelic. Arguably stronger now than my Spanish skills, but I'd still definately hesitate to attempt using it for a complete conversation

Had a 3 week intro to French a long time ago. Enough to decide I didn't like the feel of it. It's a fine language and all, I just don't care for how it feels

Studied a little bit of Tolkinian Elven. Not enough to say I was studying Quenya vs. Sindarin. I'm somewhat familiar with Tengwar. but I have no vocabulary.

English (1st language), Spanish to some degree, French to some lesser degree, Lakhota (Native American-Sioux), and I wish I had the time for Scottish Gaelic. I have the "Teach Yourself" tapes for that.....

English. Had four years of Spanish, but it's slipping away rapidly. Have been learning Welsh now for a few weeks, and that is going well.

At one time or another I've learned and largely forgotten Vietnamese, French, and Spanish. I also learned enough Japanese to get by while I was in Japan--I can still translate a phrase or so for my kids when they watch Anime. At one time, I could also recognize Russian and Mandarin Chinese, but can't say I ever felt comfortable with them--mostly, all I really learned in them was comm checks. I once tried to learn German, but decided it was more than I could handle. My Swedish grandmother tried to teach me a bit of Swedish, but I can't say I remember any of it now.
I'm thinking of making a stab at learning some Gaellic.

English is the only language I speak fluently. I had two years of high school Spanish (and am really surprised at how much of it I remember). I am also learning Scottish Gaelic. I've been learning it now for about 6 or 7 years, and have not progressed much farther than advanced beginner or low intermediate level! If I ever master it, I'd also like to learn Irish Gaelic, Russian, and Hebrew, as well as master Spanish! Maybe someday...

I was thinking of buying some tapes (or CD's) to learn Gaelic, but I'm not sure what a good program would be. Does anyone have any recommendations for a company who makes Language on Tapes? I spend about 2 1/2 hours a day in my car, so might as well put it to use!

Which Gaelic? Irish, Scottish or Manx? I am assuming, since you are IRISH Stepper, that you mean Irish Gaelic, which I can't help you with, but I just thought I'd ask...

I speak English fluently and have taken four years of high school French and am minoring in French in college. So hopefully by the time I'm out of college I'll be fluent in French as well.
