Mmmmm . . . I'm not a scottish cook in any original way. But I don't mind doing the research and trying it out, then sharing the results. smile.gif

OK ! I will start this contest today July 1st. Please post your entries, only one per person, in the pinned Contest area. Please do not post reviews or comments in this area, there is a seperate area for that.

Only one recipe per person, if this contest has a good turn out then I will run another in the future .

Anyway...looking forward to everyone's entries....

Believe it or not, you do it the same way you would apple pie, with sugar and pie spices and all, some dots of butter if you like that, even raisins or dried cranberries, except you steam the peeled zook slices for a minute or two to make them a little tender first before you put them into the crust, and throw in a good tablespoon or more of lemon juice. It's good. The recipes I have seen say to use bigger, older zooks so they are a little firmer and don't let off so much water. It's a NICE pie to have with a chunk of sharp cheddar, too. smile.gif

Now I'll repeat Shadows' announcment:

Humm!! I guess I should mention what the prize will be for the voted best recipe...

Well I see that the interest is not here for this contest, we had 12 members say they wanted this to run again and only 3 have entered.
Come on folks you must have a recipe that is near and dear to you that you want to share with the possibility of winning the wonderful prize.
