I'm about to order myself a new Ipod, and I'm thinking to get some Gaelic text engraved on the back of it. The trick is, I have to get it right the first time. Therefore, could I get some help? I've got some ideas, that I want to verify are 100% accurate:

Our old standby: Ceàd Mìle Fàilte

Or perhaps: Bodhaig America, Anam Gàidhlig

I've also wondered about comming up with something related to the Creich clan... Just not sure what.

Also, I'm open to other suggestions. I'm working with 2 lines, 27 characters max per line.

Per Apple's website:

it is going to be filled with celtic music i take? and other songs
that you really love?

Or if you want to say something 'bout Music, why don't engrave

"Tha ceòl staidhre gu'n Nèamh" Music is a stairway to heaven

Or:

Far a bheil mo cheòl an comann - Where my music dwells ( wink.gif )

'S mor mo shunnd's mo cheol-gaire, Great my joy, loud my laughter,

(Last one's a phrase from Capercaillie)

Some great ideas here smile.gif Many thanks to both of you. I'll keep looking back here over the next couple days when I can, although last night's events may well prevent me from ordering my Ipod as soon as I hoped. Not sure yet.
