Being the stupid technophobe that I am ,I deleted my internet cookies and now each time I come back to the site,I have to log in despite having the wee "remember me " thingy ticked as yes. Help!

Have you tried logging out then logging back in and make sure to leave things as they are. I think the default setting is to remember you so I never change these at al. But try logging out and then back in and see if this helps. As for cookies not to familar with these as I never got that indepth while working on any of my sites but Paul should be able to help if logging off then on doesn't clear it up.

For anyone else that has the problem, if you're using Internet Explorer, go to your internet options (settings)... read through the options in the "security" section... and make sure that the "accept cookies" box is checked.

Other browsers have the same set-up, where you can agree to accept or not accept cookies.  Read through the individual settings for your browser and make sure that they are "allowable".

All this cookie talk has made me hungry... again!
