If Women Ruled The World?

I heard on the radio Ted Turner's delight upon finally having an all woman board of directors to oversee the billion dollars he donated for UN projects. (Sorry, forgot, think it was humanitarian projects) He went on to say that he thinks the men should get out of the way and let the women run things, that men have been doing it for centuries and screwing it up. He believes in a short period of time the world will be more stable, kinder, etc...

So, I thought, why not propose this as a poll.

Now everyone be kind.
No comments based upon hideous past experiences with the opposite sex.

This is the stupidest thing that I've heard in a while. (not directed at you Elspeth dear, I'm talking about the issue) If male domination is a bad thing, than how would female domination be any different. Things would be different, but no better. Our only hope is to level the playing field.

I really don't feel that having all women running the planet would be any improvement over what we have had. Why? Because politicians are politicians no matter what their sex might happen to be. The power hungry are the same, no matter what their sex. I just don't believe there would be any meaningful change.

My intolerance of career politicians isn't showing, is it??

Utopia, no doubt about it! Have any of you women worked in all female office? I have heard, it is not a pretty picture. Especially when those hormones fluctuate. Whoa! Look out! If I was president, if I was in one of my moods I might declare war on another country if they even looked at me wrong. Seriously, I don't think it would be any worst or any better.

Well I totally agree with everything that has been said. I never did like Ted Turner and think he is even more of a butthead now! I am like Maggie, I wouldn't want to be in one of my moods and be president either. I am worried enough about the wanna-be president Mrs Clinton getting that role. God help us!

I work in retail... I have seen the fairer sex in action during sales!!! They would scratch the eyes out of their dear old mother for the last of an item (mind you not all of you act this way... but damn near all , LOL! )

My old grandfather used to say "women are a greedy lot, they own half the money and all the p***y and control both with iron fists!"

Everybody thinks woman would do a better job running the world than a man becaue of our maternal and caring abilities, but as a woman I would have to diagree. Have you ever experienced 2 woman in the same room that are PMSing?

Yes, I have, Celeste! It's not a pretty site.....try traveling with an all-girl color guard for a summer when they start linking up luna-centrically. Takes a brave man, I'll tell ya!

And Annabelle, I subscribe to the old Jamaican song "Men Smart, Women Smarter." And as far as a Mrs. McHaggis, there was one 33 years ago and I have eluded the tender trap since then. Every time I though I was going in that direction something happened: either I moved (which I do a lot) or broke up with them or ?, but I saw how it turned out for the guy that they DID marry and I count my blessings every day and night that it was that fool got caught and not me!

I've nothing against marriage, but finally got old enough to not "need" to be married. When I find a woman with the same attitude, all things considered, I might marry her!

And Shadow: I was going to mention that "half the money and all the ....., well you know" but modesty forbid me. Gary Busey used that line in a movie once.

If Women Ruled the World...

All men would be forced to spend a month in a PMS stimulator.
Men would pay as much attention to their women as they do their cars.
Overweight men would have their weight brought to their attention constantly.
For basic training, soldiers would have to take care of a 2 year old for six weeks.
Shopping would be an aerobic exercise.
All toilet seats would be nailed down.
Women with cold hands would give men prostate exams!
