Hi, my name is Larry Mickey and am not sure how much to say about myself, but here goes. My Dad met my Mom in Japan during the Korean War, where I was born. Grew up traveling to different states and cities wherever my Dad would be stationed while he served in the Army. His last duty station was Omaha, Nebraska, which is where I have called home for the last 54yrs. I grew up believing we were Irish and found out, while researching our family tree, that we are actually Scottish. Discovery is grand. I served in the Navy and was attached to the 3rd Bttn 1st Marines in Vietnam as a Corpsman. Retired from a store fixture manufacturing company after 40yrs. I have 3 daughters, all just starting their families. My youngest daughter studied Irish Dance with the Craoi na Tira Dance Co., here in Omaha. They used to be tied to the Sullivan Irish Dance Co. in Chicago. My retirement allows me to coach young girls volleyball, collect baseball cards and provide Grandpa Daycare services. When the younger ones are asleep I will generally work on our family tree. Thank you for the opportunity of belonging to this group. Larry
