So childhood memory... well my name is Catlyn and when I was in fourth grade I tended to go by Catie or Cate, well in my class there three other girls who were either Kate or Katie(they were all really Katherines but they never went by their full name). So we as a group had to come up with a way for our teachers to specify who we each were when they called our name so we ended up with one girl being Kate, one Katie, one KT, and me as Catlyn. The funny thing though was that we all still answered to Kate or Katie and we were all really good friends and so often times we were together and would all turn when the teacher wanted to get our attention.
