Getting ready to fix some supper for my grandkids. They will be getting here after playing soccer and football. Tonight's menu will be wild hog sausages from a wild hog that I killed. Then lots of grits with red eye gravy with biscuits and local honey. Yum! Yum! Later this week the menu will be shrimp gravy over rice, butterbeans and homemade biscuits and local honey. Yum! Yum. Yes, there will be ice cold sweet tea with lemon. What are y'all having for supper?
I just went through 500 pieces of spam mail and now I'm off to band rehearsal...we get our X-mas music tonight.

Using the internet at the library right now. One little boy, here with his mom, is fascinated with the fishies in the fish tank. I'm about to head over to the grocery store and pick up a few necessary items. I'm out of eggs and about out of milk, coffee and peanut butter. I already bought bread today. I buy mine at the local Wonder Bread/Hostess store. Cheaper and fresher than the grocery store.

I'm waiting until my landlady's out of the kitchen so I can go get some breakfast. Yes, I could go now, but I really don't feel like talking to her this morning.
Enjoying all of the excitment of President Bush visiting my hometown today. A small rural Georgia town with a regional university located 50 miles west of Savannah. It is the first time a sitting President has been to our small town. Thank you, Mr. President.

would you give me your recipe for red eye gravy. I've been married for 35 years and have never fixed red eye gravy nor ate it. I know it would delight my hubby to no end!
