and now I have glitter every where including my key board. Looks like I will be seeing glitter for ever.
Hi Rindy, this comes from that.... - okay okay no malicious joy - but a glitter keyboard is nice - welcome back to the 70's. But you're not alone - I have sawdust where ever I look around. F****** panels! And I don't cope with the cover.... Today follows part two of the drama. Will be an eveningfilling (supposably never ending) story. I am angry about it
Finished the office chores, playing spades on the computer and watching the snow blow. It is snowing with a 40 mph wind, gusting to 50 mph,25 degrees with a 7 degree windchill and under a winter weather advisory. I hate winter.

Listening to Highlander Radio 'Greensleeves'... one of my favorites...
Was working for 10 hours on my quickbooks file which crashed and had no working backups and my company has 12 accounts and I am barely finished with the first account... so that was great. (Anyone who has lost a company file or built a quickbooks file from scratch knows what I am talking about).
So I just finished downing a smithwicks and am going to bed early.
Reading posts here and there while enjoying the Celtic Moon soothing music... Will have to get the supper ready soon...so just taking a bit of time in here....

Taking a break from rebuilding my stairs to the second floor, new oak treads and thanking the heavens that we missed the ice storm that just hit northern New England. It's 60 degrees on the Cape. Just for the next 6 hours or less. Then back to winter.
just rocking my little boy to sleep and listening in....

Just getting back from getting my inlaws in Worcester out of that very same ice storm mentioned above. It was real bad. Trees and power lines down everywhere. Looked like a tornado hit. They have no power or heat so they are staying with us for a while.
We were right on the very edge of the storm. We got mostly rain not much ice. Wild storm and it was a crazy ride seeing all the damage during the whole trip when we got them.
Togo, glad to hear that your inlaws are safe with you....
Just got out of bed...couln't sleep anymore...today will be a cold day for all my windows are frosted from bottom to top can hardly see through them...but I just love it. So I guess I'll take it easy and sit down by the fireplace and sip my coffee and listen to my favorite music while reading my book.

...but the show must go on...
During the week I hadn't time enough to finish the "project", because I had a lot of work at my job. (It's unbelievable how many parcels the people send out in the pre-Christmas time...) Now it is Saturday afternoon I stand on a self-constructed scaffolding and my intervertebral disks almost kill me. Maybe I carried too big things during the week. In the backround is running Celtic-Rock-Radio and when I have a break I read and write a little bit in the forum. (so as just now )
Just came back from Shopping....man!!!!! It's Cold out there!!!!! It's now -26 C (-14 F) with a -39 C (-32 F) windchill!!!! I'm making myself some Coffee & putting some Apricot Brandy in it to warm up Then I shall attempt to figure out how to put my new vacuum together; apparently it's awesome pickin' up pet hair.
