I've been looking through the forums and can't find anything on this, but I'm getting ready to get a new tattoo and I'm getting the William Wallace sword with the phrase, Every Man Dies, Not Every Man Really Lives, in Gaelic. I have looked all through the internet as much as i can and can not find a true translation. If anyone can help translate it into gaelic or point me to a place in the forums this has already been done it'd be most appreciated. thanks |

since entering this I've found 3 possibilities if anyone is skilled in this and tell me if any of these are right. 1. Gheidh gach duine bas, cha bhi duine beo gu-dearbh 2. Basaichidh gach duine, cha bhi ah-uile duine beo da-rireabh (riribh or rireadh also a possibility for the last word) 3. Faigheann gach fear bas, ach ni ghlacann gach fear leis an tsaol any input would be helpful thanks |

Be wary of the translators, they tend to be literal and/or unreliable. Go to http://www.irishgaelictranslator.com The people there are fantastically helpful and will help you get an accurate translation! |
