CALLING YOU is a powerful collection of songs by Michael Callaghan aka Cal and some traditional songs that awaken the Celtic spirit within. Each song in this collection calls to Scotland's sons and daughters to return home to the motherland. From the motivational songs such as "Don't Give In" and "Don't Let It Pass You By", encouraging one to never give up on one's dreams and to grab it and hold on while you can; to the more romantic "Á Chaílin Álain (O Beautiful Girl)" and the song that won Cal The UK Festival 4 The Stars National Finals Award, "You And I", with their passionate lyrics that express deep emotion of how true love should be and how deeply it can wound; to "The Gathering" and the title song, "Calling You", with their soul-stirring lyrics combined with smooth, passionate vocals. This album is truly what Scottish music should sound like. ~Lisa Frazier

Calling You is what CAL is all about. He gives 100% of his

talents on this cd. It has 13 songs some and some in Gaelic. I

love the song "The Gathering" it is almost haunting. You feel

your right back to the early days of Scotland. It sounds like it

should be a movie theme.

There isn't a song on this cd that I don't like. He has such a

variety of songs it never gets boring and it will never leave your

soul. I hope you will request a few songs and if you like buy

one from CAL. He is a true Scotsman.
