St. Patrick's Day 2019!!

Always a great time to get together with friends and usually a lot of celebratory activities to go to.

My family and I are heading down to Newport RI for the weekend.
They do a great job with the holiday there.
They have a very festive Parade on Saturday and a lot of fun events as well going on all weekend.
Were going to see some Irish bands tonight, an Irish breakfast at Buskers in the morning, parade later in the day and some pints of Guinness along the way.

Whacha got??

Togo, sounds like fun!

Quiet weekend for us. Hubs has been dealing with lots of doc visits, mostly from his stupidity, so just corned beef and cabbage on Sunday and we'll raise a few.

Interesting day! I am actually going to be in Shiprock, NM on the Navajo Nation preaching a meeting for a church. I'll definitely miss being home over the holiday. I enjoy just listening to good Irish Trad, but duty calls! And I'm glad to do it! It's a very young church with a fine young Navajo pastor.

Have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day everyone!!

I, too, am working on St Patrick's Day. At the facility where I work, I was asked to lead a discussion group on the history of the kilt and the differences between the Scottish and Irish variants.
