The last 2 days we have had 16 inches of snow up here in New England. It is December but highly unusual for so much so early in the season.
Schools have been cancelled the last couple of days as well. Still snowing heavily as I speak.

How about you areas??

St. Patrick's Day 2019!!

Always a great time to get together with friends and usually a lot of celebratory activities to go to.

My family and I are heading down to Newport RI for the weekend.
They do a great job with the holiday there.
They have a very festive Parade on Saturday and a lot of fun events as well going on all weekend.
Were going to see some Irish bands tonight, an Irish breakfast at Buskers in the morning, parade later in the day and some pints of Guinness along the way.

Whacha got??

2018 Boston Irish Festival !

I go every year and it's a great fun time. The music always features top notch musicians, the hurling and football games are very entertaining, the food spot on, the energy and atmosphere is why you go.
All in all this festival is a great representation of Irish culture.

Gaelic Storm is the main headliner this year..

"Welcome to the Irish Cultural Centre’s, annual Boston Irish Festival at 200 New Boston Drive in Canton. On Saturday, June 2nd, we will have our Pre-Festival concert from 3pm to 11pm. Sunday, June 3 is a full day of music, history and sports from 10am to 11pm.
Featuring many of the finest Irish musicians, singers, dancers, writers, and cultural advocates you’re likely to see in one setting, the Boston Irish Festival is intended to connect attendees to the area’s deep Irish roots. We have a many events for folks of all ages, including concerts, dances, sports, food and kid’s activities."

I went to a fantastic show last night, "Rockin' Road to Dublin".

I was absolutely entertained the whole night. The cast was full of many very talent dancers, singers, and musicians. If they are in your area, I highly recommend you go and see the show.

Check this video out:

A great review Here:

https://www.broadwayworld.com/central-new-y...heater-20180504

"Rockin' Road to Dublin is the new sensation changing the Irish Dance world. A fusion of rock and Irish, Rockin' Road combines the best of both worlds to thrust Irish Dance back into the spotlight. This stylish, can't-miss spectacle is the perfect balance between concert and stage show!"

"Rockin' Road to Dublin is that all-important one-two punch of style and mastery... the cast exudes a fabulous mix of charisma and personality. However, the fun vibe is solidly backed by the highly original choreography and technical mastery of every performer onstage; world-class, although this crew is making it all look easy. Scott and Chris have made some magic here."

Well in Massachusetts we finally hit 60 degrees today!

Tough start to spring this year.
April is hit or miss here but this year so far it's been a miss. Many periods of rain, low temperatures, and even a few episodes of snow.
And March was tough as well as we had low temperatures and several snow storms and a few Nor'easters as they are known here.

"A nor’easter is a macro-scale cyclone occurring along the upper East Coast of the United States and Atlantic Canada. The name derives from the direction of the strongest winds—as an offshore air mass rotates counter-clockwise, winds tend to blow northeast-to-southwest over the land in those regions."

Yeah those.

(Funny in February we had a day in the 70's)
