The closer we get to Thanksgiving the more we begin to think about the Christmas shopping...

"If you could have only one present, no matter what it cost, what would be the one thing you would ask Santa for?

All that decorating and music get you in the Christmas mood a month early? laugh.gif

Don't think I can answer that. Need too many material things to pick just one.
And, the things I really want can't be bought or brought in Santa's bag. sad.gif

Did that get me out of answering the question?

I'm going to ask Santangela for a new turbo. biggrin.gif

Actually, I never ask her for a particular gift. It's just not right.

Any other day of the year though, like today, I can ask her for a new Turbo. If she decides to get me one come December 25th, that's up to her.

(thanks to dreamer1 for making me snoop around about the Turbo Trans-Am. On my journey I stumbled over a NOS [new original stock] 301T for a TTA or GN for $50, never used) drool.gif

I'd say a PowerMac computer with a 17-inch flat panel, plasma screen monitor.

BTW, I just downloaded some Christmas lights for my iMac. Kinda cool. I turned off the blinking feature though. It reminded me of my neighbor. Every year, he puts musical blinking lights outside on his bushes. If you ever want to hear "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer", "Silent Night", "Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas" being played at the same time, come to my house.

If my beliefs followed suit to this holiday:

I would want my wife to want sex the same time I do, people to stop being so ignorant about others, plenty for all of what is needed to live, nothing for those who already have and horde, and that damned music to stop!!!! wink.gif

For nonmaterial things I ask for understanding and compassion for all, which would hopefully lead to things like world peace.
For material things, I'd love to have enough money so that I didn't need to interrupt the important things in my life to go to work!

I just want the escrow check from the sale of my cabin to be here before Christmas. I don't need or want anything but that so I can get out of debt and stay out!

And I want all of you to have everything you ever wanted.....and I want to never hear "Jingle Bell Rock" again for the rest of my life. Might as well want world peace, too, as I expect neither will happen in my life time but the thought is nice.

Nope, nothing wrong with asking for money. You need some spending money. I'd give it to you if I had it. Hope you have some relatives and friends richer than I. biggrin.gif
