Hello all,

I am currently planning some things for the Scotland forum so while I plan these things I need some good fresh ideas of where you want to be taken. What topics and discussions might you find interesting or thought provoking? What topics do you think will be the most interesting? I am planning to touch on topics like:

1. The history
2. Places of interest
3. Famous people
4. Historic places
5. Current events

If anyone would like me to expand this list please let me know and I can add to it.

Aragorn

I'm just new here, so I don't know what you've done before, but I wonder if anyone is interested in the natural history? all the coastal and island nature and formations, and the things you find hill walking?
Just an idea. It fascinates me. I'm fascinated for example by the stacs that are part of St Kilda, how they formed, the bird colonies on them, and things like that. And especially how to find gaelic language for all those things.

Hey mahn! (That's suppossed to be in a Jamacian accent wink.gif )

What about something along the lines of the "Do you believe in Faeries...?" string you started. Something on folkloric traditons, myths, fairy-lore, etc... focussing on the Celtic branch. maybe even go into the Irish history/ folklore spillover phenomenon..? You already did a great job of finding those wonderful and informative links on the subjects! thumbs_up.gif
