CelticRadio: Thank you for the response to my inquiry.
I have been research my linage for a number of years, with some lines back to the 1100s and others not as far but have a good ideas where most of the family originated. My husband has a family went from Scotland to Ireland often with family members being born in both countries. My Mackay [Mackey] family left Ireland prior to 1767 but have been unable to find information as to what was happening in Scotland which may have encouraged the family to emigrate to Ireland from the Highlands.

I have thought about the DNA testing but since I have a good idea where the family comes from, I'm not ready at this time.

Thank you again for responding to my inquiry.

I am seeking information regarding the various history of migration to Ireland and maybe years of migration. We, my husband and I, have ancestors who migrated to Ireland and some who went back and forth.

Thank you for any assistance.

Gaelwynd is an artist worth listening to and seeing if you have the fortune to attend one of her concerts. She puts so much of herself into her performances. thumbs_up.gif

Sorry to hear about your depression, and I add my voice that you are not alone in being affected with depression. Some questions though, are you in therapy? have some person(s) who is available for support when you need extra?

Just remember medication is one way of managing your symptoms but do meet with a psychiatrist to review how you are feeling and what can be done.

Good luck,
