Dia Duit,
I'm apart of several street teams, they are Great Big sea, Carbon Leaf, and Gaelic Storm. Any questions on any of these groups I'll be more than happy to answer for you. Street teams are one of the best ways to get the music spread through out the world. Maybe we should start a Highlander Radio street team, might be a good way to spread the music.
Slainte!

Exactly what *is* a street team? just a group of people who go around telling people about a band, site, etc...?

A street team is a method that many bands use to spread their music. Its a bunch of people who let people listen to the music and we try to post posters of the group when ever they are coming into our area. The CLEAF team also does all the merchandise sales.

ok, that works smile.gif Sounds something like what I do for the genre in general. I've introduced several people to Celtic music over the last year.
