Just got done cleaning up all of the toilet paper strewn all over the house since "MY HUSBAND" cannot remember to shut the bathroom door "EVEN THOUGH HE KNOWS FULL WELL" that the Aengus is addicted to toilet paper.
Trying to hang in here at work for my normal 5 hours although I'm beginning to feel a bit stiff.
For those who don't know, my sweetie and I were in a car wreck on Tuesday night. Some 18-year-old girl rear-ended us and I took a trip to the ER to get my neck and back checked since I had (and still have) neck pain. I stayed out of work yesterday so I could take it easy and rest.
You know, she came barreling down on us and didn't even slow down - no squealing tires, no skid marks, just WHAM! And it was a perfectly clear night, on a well-lit, 6-lane major road with nary a curve in sight. One has to wonder, was she on the cell-phone and that's why she didn't even attempt to slow down or avoid us? We had just stopped for the light and were beginning to accelerate. The next thing I knew, we were in the left lane even though just a couple of seconds before we had been in the far right. Thank goodness we didn't have the kids with us in the back seat.
Irony - we had just filled up the gas tank and taken the car through the car wash not 2 hours earlier!

Wombats story is n example of why many states have laws against young drivers even using cell phones in their cars, and other states have laws requiring all drivers that use cell phones to have hands free phones. I have a better solution...SHUT UP AND DRIVE!
Here in Connecticut it's againest the law to talk on a cell phone while driving, nobody it seems pays attention to the lawthough. Hope your feeling better soon.
I just finished with supper and lit my oil difuser now kicking back and reading the forums listening to Runrig -Day of Days-Proterra-that's a good song
Lady Of Avalon sometimes if I get in a hurry and log out without checking the little box that I am sure I want to log out it will keep me logged in..done this a zillion times before bed. I get up in the morning and to my shock I've been logged in all night..
Just sitting here thinking how families drift apart and loose touch until tragedy hits. Out of sight, out of mind or is it a sign of the times we live in with our busy lives?
Took a nap when I got home from work (since I didn't sleep well last night) and now I'm noodling around through my email, the forums, and playing some online games. Was going to watch Gordon Ramsay but I just don't feel like going downstairs - too much effort. Maybe later. I only have two more episodes of Stargate on Season 3's dvd set - perhaps I'll watch them tonight.
