The training ground, Basic rpg training

Okay, here I am, your master. I thought I might as well get it on with it *grins*. I have my story at home but I am in scotland, so I thought we start it out as local pub scene somewhere (not specified, might be Scotland, Ireland, England etc)... I will give you an example, first I will describe the interiour and then I play as someone that walks in.

You stand before "The Kings Arms", a white building, with dark blue painted lines around the door and the windows. The white paint is coming off a bit at the corners, and the big wooden doors look a bit shabby, too. But you decide to go in.
A smoky atmosphere welcomes you, and through it you can see 2 pool tables, one is occupied by 2 young men, one of them has his dog as his side. On your right side you can see the bar and an elderly woman is washing a pint while she is talking to a few old men. They talk about football. Over the bar you can see a big Celtic flag. A few old tables with their old chairs are stading near the pool tables, and above them hangs a telly. You recognise an old "chewin' the fat" episode on it.

Drinks available are:
Guinness
Murphys
Strongbows (cider)
the usual soft drinks+Irn Bru
White&MacKays (whisky)
Jameson's (irish whiskey)
Baileys
Smirnoff vodka (+ the 2 Smirnoff Ice sorts)

Tally decided to visit the pub one day. She had never been there before although she had lived in this village for quite a while now.
She opened the heavy doors and laughter welcomed her. I should have brought a friend, she thought and went to the bar.
"What can I do for ye" the barkeeper looked at her.
"Erm... Guinness, please" Tally said and paid the Barkeeper.
"Never seen you around", the barkeeper said and smiled at her.
Tally nodded.

OKay, this is a small guideline. You don't have to set the font into bold and italic all the time, but it makes it easier to tell what is said from what is thought.

"So this is where I'll make my contact" He finds a booth that looks out towards the door, orders a Guinness, and waits...

Tally smiled at the stranger next to her "Hey there, I'm Tally"

The Barkeeper draws a pint of guinness and waits until the foam on the pint settles before giving Brettzky the chilled glass.

Thinks to himself, So THAT's where they've decided to meet. I turn back to my Killian's and keep them both in view, trying to look like just another patron.

Barddas sits at bar- Ask for pint of guinness and a shot of Jameson's

Looks around, lights the ol' pipe. Notices that "chewin' the fat " is on.

Thinks to himself- I wonder if Boys and Girls is on tonight?

Meanwhile, a American CIA operative named Mike, dressed in jeans and a Celtic t-shirt, comes out of the loo and orders a Murphys. As the barman readies the beverage, he scans the room, looking for his mark...

Enter the blonde. She is 5 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 120 lbs, wearing tight jeans and a softly draped red silk blouse with a plunging neckline. Her long blonde hair cascades down her back almost to her waist. As her azure blue eyes adjust to the dimly lit pub, she smiles pleasantly and walks over to the bar. She perches on a barstool and waits.

The bartender leans over and asks What'll ya have?

I am waiting for a friend, I hope you dont mind if I don't order anything yet, she replies with her soft southern accent and a slight twinkle in her eye.

Barddas looks over at said blonde, Tips off his hat and winks at the Lass..

Goes back to Guinness sitting in from of him.

Notices guy at bar ordering the Murphy's...

I thank Tom the bar keep for the pint of Murphy's and light up a cigarette. It's good to be "Arms", I've had many good times here. Lot of strangers in here tonight, including a spectacular blonde. Maybe I'll get up the courage to introduce my self later on, but for now, I want to see if I can strike up a game of darts with someone.

This goofy looking, bearded guy looks frienly enough, maybe he's up for a game.

Hey. My name's Ursamajor. New in town?"

THe goofy looking guy didn't reply, just sipped his Guiness.

The blonde at the bar sits and drums her fingers nervously on the counter. She wondered where her date was for the evening. He was supposed to meet her here well over an hour ago.

Well, I am determined to make the most of a night like this. she mused silently to herself. She was getting hungry, because her no-show date was supposed to meet her here, then he promised a night of dinner and dancing on the town. Aint that just like a man, she thought to herself, always promising more than they can deliver?

She sighed rather glumly...

Oh well, at least there were plenty of nice looking gentlemen here. It could be worse I suppose...it looks like they have a dart board, and is that a pool table I see over there in the corner? I adore playing pool!

I can stay here and play pool, or I can go home and watch movies on the telly with my cat. Decisions, decisions...

Notices the young blonde lady, seems to be a tad miffed.

Hmm, she notices a rather pleasant looking young man ordering a drink. Maybe he likes to play pool? He has bought her a drink - how sweet of him!

"I'll have a rum and coke if you please sir." she smiles at Tom and then turns to the young lad.

"Thank you for coming to my rescue" she says demurely. "You just saved me from dying from sheer boredom!"

"The pleasure is all mine. So, how shall we cure this boredom that is lurking overhead? " ( starting to chuckle)

Damn these assignments I think to myself. That could have been me with the blonde...Oh well, back to my objective "Barkeep, pour me another!" I keep the CIA agent in view. Just glad I finally found him.

Hello Zeb, I am Anne. Then and only then did she realize her fatal mistake...that she had been trapped! Trapped into a meaningless never ending conversation...

As she smiles painfully and listens to Zeb drone on and about his recent hernia surgery, she sits and tries to think of a tactful way to bail out of this situation...

She notices another fellow at the bar who seems to be sitting quietly and has the same drink he was sipping when she came in. She heard someone call him "Mike"
