The blooming hyacinth are a delight to my senses....and so is this beautiful Irish & Scottish music that I discovered so many years ago on Fiona Ritchie's "Thistle & Shamrock" NPR radio program! I found this website awhile back and started listening to Celtic radio/LIVE365, but just recently discovered this community. And so....I decided to hop on board.
Enjoy! Monksplay, AKA Melissa

"Irishness is not primary a question of birth or blood or language; it is the condition on being involved in the Irish situation, and usually of being mauled by it."-Conor Cruise O'Brien
New to CRN and loving it, but not to Celtic music , The genre has made my blood sing since I first discovered it on the PBS " Thistle and Shamrock" hour. Must be those Scot and Irish ancestors calling to me!! I look forward to many a good hour of tunes, chat and cheer....
