Celtic Guardian Group: Celtic Nation Posts: 1,176 Joined: 01-Aug-2003 Zodiac: Reed	i played a wedding this weekend in galena il. there is a wonderful motel there called the "Irish Cottage" the front of the complex is all done to look like a little irish street somewhere on the isle... my wife and i went to the the pub "frank o'dowds" on friday evening for food music smithwicks jameson's and more... had a nice time but that is not what i am writing to tell ya.. sunday as we were getting ready to leave galena we decided to have lunch at the pub cause it was just soooo nice and authentic... we took a booth to the back by a window... i had bangers and chips the wife had a chicken wrap ... food was excellent both times... but that is not what i am writing to tell ya.. i noticed a small brass plaque on the middle of the table and just ignored it... a few bites through a banger... i finally read it.... it said: Born to be a Bachelor was written at this table on November 14, 2003 By Gaelic Storm what a surprise... found the table where they all sat around and figured out "BtbaB" then to my surprise as i was a reading the liner notes on "Bring your Wellies" it says: 'Gaelic Storm likes to stay at the "Irish Cottage" Galena' (therishcottage.com) made a nice surprise for a gaelic storm fan... just thought i would share it with you -------------------- jim www.greyaengus.com "If I say something that can be interpreted in two ways, and one of the ways makes you sad or angry, I meant it the other way." often in error, never in doubt. if guns kill people then my pencil mis-spells words quote: larry the cable guy sometimes what ya think ya want isnt what ya thought ya wanted till ya get what ya thought ya wanted and then what ya had is gone....
