I have to agree with Raven. The Pacer looks like a goldfish bowl on wheels. It was followed closely by the Gremlin. For a more current choice, I can't help but stare whenever an Aztec goes by (trying to see who actually bought the monstrosity). Sorry if there are any Aztec drivers on this board but you really should take a harder look at the thing.

May the Irish hills caress you. May her lakes and rivers bless you. May the luck of the Irish enfold you. May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
Cars get different names in different markets, had never heard of the Aztec and had to do a search to see what y'all were talking about. Now I know, thanks.
Aye, the Yaris (we call it the Echo, and the Eastern market calls it the Vitz) is extremely ugly. I've rented a few, and they are nothing to look at, inside or out. But Leo, I've never seen this variant before. Thank heavens we don't have to look at this going down the highway. It's a shame, because the car that the Echo replaced, the Tercel, was a decent looking car. My fiancee and I own on of the late models ('95 DX), and they look like little Bimmers.
We don't get any Diatsus, but that looks pretty much on par with the 1st Gen. Toyota Rav4.

The Mustang II WAS a Pinto, just very thinly glorified.

We have just started to see that one down here in the last year. As far as the Daihatsu Terios, I think that car was used as a taxi in that one Arnold S. movie, Total Recall. The Rav 4 is made by Toyota, and is big down here, but is not nearly as ugly as the Terios.
Then there is the classic, Lada. Tried to find a picture of one that did it justice but just couldn't find any where anyone 'fessed up to owning one. I drove one for a year down here. Interesting little car, complete with hammer and sickle stamped into the engine block.
