This is what Celtic Thunder should have been like.

I was at Barnes and Noble tonight and picked up a copy of the High Kings CD and am now listening to it. Sounds great! Glad this forum is here otherwise I would have started it myself.

I have both the CD and DVD of the "High Kings" as well as the CD and DVD of "Celtic Thunder". I enjoy them both but the "High Kings" is a lot better. I think some of the music in "Celtic Thunder" leaves a bit to be desired.

The High Kings are one of the hottest Irish traditional music groups to come along in quite a while. If you love the Celtic music of old, such as the Clancy Brothers or Tommy Makem, then you are going to love the High Kings. Their four-part harmonies are simply gorgeous and the lyrics infectious. You will be singing and dancing with these boys in no time. This is a must have CD for your collection and it will be the CD to have in 2008 - so pick up a copy fast! 5 Gold Celtic Radio Stars and a definite buy for the High Kings!
