Welcome to Kirk and Chapel!

As the name suggests, this is a Christian gathering place. Post here whatever you would like to share with your brothers and sisters in Christ. However, please refrain from posting in this forum topics of confrontational debate. Those should be posted in Philosophy, Science and Religion.

I am excited to have this place here on Highlander Radio.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. ? 2Peter 1:2

Thank you for the invitation to Kirk and Chapel, Elspeth. I'm sure you will make this a wonderful place to be with all who believe in God our Creator. May we walk together here in spirit and truth and agree upon the good things of God.

I knew I had a smart sister!

I am so thankful for so much in my life I can never thank the Lord for all of the wonderful gifts of friendship, love, laughter, family and living daily in God's word.
I'm very thankful to have a terrific friend Elspeth who thru her courage she has begun this forum here on Highland Radio. In a time when being a christian is not socially correct it takes a brave soul to continue to speak out as a christian. I thank God daily for every thing he brings into my life even when it may not be what I want but what he wants to teach me.
I have so much to learn in my life. God continues to amaze me daily. I pray everyone I care about will eventually accept the Lord as their savior and make him the light of their life. Thru him anything is possible, although I never feel worthy enough for the things he does for me, he still loves me in spite of my big mouth and bossy ways.
Thank you E for starting this forum!
In christian love,
Annabelle

Elspeth,

Thanks for inviting me to this forum. I look forward to sharing with you and everyone else in the love and grace that God has offered us. I can't remember where it is in the Bible, but there is a verse that says,

Where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, I will be in their midst.

In Christian Love,
Todd

This will be my 1st and last visit here.... I will not spout my hethanistic beliefs to you and your members.

I wish you well on your new forum and hope that it has the success you look for.

Believe me, there are not many sites that would allow a forum like this so I am so thankful to God and to Paul for allowing all this to happen for us!

Hi Elspeth, I've come in late but I wanted to say how wonderful that we can share two very beautiful things:

1. A love of the faith once delivered to the saints.
2. a love for things celtic, especially the lovely music on highlander radio.

That means we have an aweful lot in common, praise the Lord!

Tassiecelt! I wanted to welcome you here as well. I have appreciated much your comments about our faith and in the general comments of the site. glad to have you with us! wink.gif smile.gif

Elspeth, I am reminded of what is easy to forget, that this forum (Kirk and chapel) is unique.
It is one of the very few places, if not the ONLY place, in cyberspace where celtic and christian come together.

that makes it special, a place of Light and the beauty of the "ancient paths"

Jer 18:15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up;

I am new to Celtic Radio, but not a new Christian. Like so many others have said, thank you Elspeth for offering a forum for those of us who are believers in Christ. And like some of those above me, it is great to see those who love God and Christ and also love things Celtic. It is such a great joy to me to be able to associate with those of like mind. I teach four year olds in a truly Christian Classical school, and it's one of those rarities to find something that you love to do in life.
Again, thanks for the forum. I will be checking in quite often.

Is there any forum for prayer requests - maybe this one; or should I start one?

Jennie
