Do you have MSN? I know they come equipped with some anti-spyware program don't they or am I thinking of pop-up blocker?
No, our ISP is also our cable company, Wide Open West (which I think is a subsidiary of SBC). I don't know anything about MSN. As far as popup blocking, I just use the one that's included in the Firefox web browser.

Just got home after taking a ride on the Snow Train in Ontario, Canada. Temperature this morning was 12*F. What a great trip. Saw some winter campers/Ice climbers in the canyon. Starting to plan some great future trips for me.

gettin-away! How are you? sounds like you had a wonderful trip!
Hi Rose
I have been very, very busy lately. But I still lurk through the forums watching to see what everyone is doing. I am the secretary of a statewide organization and it has led to things like this. I was the 3:00PM presentation listed part way done the page. This has led to other offers for me to make presentations including one in Grand Marais Michigan (God's Country) at a kayak symposium on the shore of Lake Superior.
I have also done some winter camping. These pictures are from that trip (don't have my snow train pictures yet). The lighthouse is at Whitefish Point where the ore carrier the Edmund Fitzgerald sank. That's the ship Gordan Lightfoot sang about.

Hi Rindy
I love the winter, but anytime of year this is a great trip to take. This picture I took two years ago while spending a week living in a caboose inside the canyon.
Right now, I'm running all three of my spy/adware removing apps: Spybot, Spyware Doctor and Microsoft Anti-Spyware. You can never have too much protection.
I am trying to catch up on posts and listening to Dougie MacLean collection. LOVE this CD!
Gettin-away! That is really awesome site you belong to and are involved in. I bet you do a really good job in it. You photos were so beautiful! I have never seen a lighthouse surrounded by snow before. And I can't imagine camping out in snow. Do you have a heater in that tent? That is what we used to have when we camped in cold weather. That last pic was awesome too. You see some really beautiful land. I envy you. I am going to Oregon this summer for the first time and I hear it is really beautiful there too. Good talkin to you. How is your daughter doing?

Hey Rose
Camping out in the snow is awesome. We do have a heater but we only use it for about a half hour to warm the tent up before we turn in for the night. After that we just rely on our camping gear. Waking up to several inches of fresh snow on the ground is unbelievable. At the south end of the canyon in the last picture is a river with two very primitive campsites near it. This past weekend we saw a group of ice climbers camped there while they climbed the nearby waterfalls. These are public sites so I'm thinking next winter of taking the train from Sault Ste Marie Ontario north to the 112 mile marker. That gets me right by the campsites and a short showshoe to the canyon.
I hear Oregon is beautiful!! There are some wonderful hiking trails I have recently read about in the wilderness areas out there. I hear the coast is also spectacular. That should be a great trip!!
My daughter is doing OK. Her surgery didn't have the results she hoped for. Her ankle and hip are very weak and she has been fitted with a full leg brace to help her stand and walk. At the same time she continued her student teaching, working with high school special education students while using a walker and an amigo(an electric scooter) to get around.
I am sitting here, listening to the Incredibles for the 4th time and waiting for Shriners' hospital in Tampa to call me back. I wish they'd hurry, though I know they're busy.
