| Due to the blizzard I have been doing some research inside the past 2 days. I ran out before the blizzard and grabbed some Leinenkugels Snowdrift Vanilla Porter to go hand and hand with the storm. I found this to be a very good beer. The blackish tan color is nice and the vanilla and coffee taste is certainly present yet not overwhelming. Very smooth going down. Not a typical porter as far as being a little light however I do give it a thumbs up. However if you are looking for a more traditional Vanilla Porter I'd recommend Breckenridge Vanilla Porter as well. |
