Gonna be spending 2 nights in Dublin when I am in Ireland this July. I'm staying in Temple Bar area so wondered if anyone knows of some good pubs around there?

Have fun, tartangal. Don't know of any pubs, but I'm sure you'll not have any trouble finding one. biggrin.gif

Jules,
The one place we went to in Temple Bar was Fitzsimons.
Address is 21-22 wellington Quay

The had Trad band downstairs, and football on the telli, Dinning upstairs as well...
Pints of Guinness, and Smithwick's were 4.20 Euros

Hope that helps...

Enjoy!!!

Thanks Jason,
Definitely going to have one......or maybe two! there. I'm really looking forward to it. It will be so different than the rest of my hol which I'm spending in Donegal. That part is very slow and relaxed.
I'll raise a glass to you in Fitzsimmons beer_mug.gif

Ah, Glad I could be of some help!
Donegal, should be a grand time!!!

I think you'll like, Temple Bar. If you look near the fromt door of some of the pubs and resturants, they have little markers noting that Van Morrison Played here...., or U2's first show was..., or Sinead O connor worked here...that type of stuff.... A little touristy, but it's something you could miss if you were just walking along... And since you enjoy a fair amount of music, I thought you would like looking for them.....

Cheers,
Jason

Thanks for the glass raising!!! smile.gif beer_mug.gif
