Ok, seems like we are due for a little celebration here on St. Patrick's Day. Time to raise the glasses high and celebrate a day when everyone can be Irish (or Celtic for that matter).
To get things rolling we really do have alot of celebrating to do! By the time St. Patrick's Day is here we would have made our 100,000 post on CelticRadio.net!!! What a phenomenal accumulation of Celtic information! Why it just seems yesterday we were egging everyone on for that 1,000 post.
We really need to celebrate this milestone and we will celebrate this milestone. Whoever makes the 100,000 post will instantly win a Highlander Radio Tshirt in their size, style and color!
To celebrate the big day we are giving away 8 Prizes as follows:
2 Highlander Radio T-Shirts
The Belles of Bedlam 'Who's Your Sire?' CD
SuperKeltic CD
Posing as Human CD by RISE
A Faire to Remember CD by the Brobdingnagian Bards
An Raicin Alainn by the lovely Lasairfhiona Ni Chonaola
The only way you can win one of the above prizes is if you post a message in the CelticRadio.net community forums on St. Patrick's Day! Thats it - talk about easy winnings!
(Please note all Founder members are automatically entered in our St. Patrick's Day Contest except the Keltic Ring Contest)
The big days event will happen around 3:00 PM (EST) when we announce the winner of Keltic Nations ring contest (a $225 US value). Details about this contest can be found here:
To be eligible for this contest you will need to make atleast a $5 donation to CelticRadio.net. All proceeds will be used to: 1) Purchase 1 years of stream hosting for our modem stream, 2) Help us pay our monthly bills which amounts to over $150 a month!
Our Special music selection will begin early this year - March 16th and through St. Patrick's Day which will include a Celtic Party mix of Pub, Traditional and Jigs & Reels to keep you dancing and drinking through the holiday. Requests will be open all day on the 16th and 17th and we will allow for additional requests of your favorite music during the time.
Happy St. Patrick's Day from CelticRadio.net! Enjoy!
I still have today to make the donation for the Ring Contest, don't I? Well I just did it, so I hope I'm still eligible!
